Card FAQs

The card is FREE and exclusive to all CIL customers. All CIL insurance policyholders will receive a card following renewal or new policy payment.

Your FREE CIL Travel Saver Card will be mailed to you within 4 weeks of policy payment. The card will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Please note once you receive the card you will need to activate it online before you can use it. If you do not want to receive the card, please email travelsaver@cilinsurance.com.au before policy payment is made.

The card will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Your CIL Travel Saver Card will expire on the expiry date stated on the card.

Click on the Offers tab, and search by Category and location. Toggle between list view and Map view for an easier search.

Every business listed on this website will accept your card and give you a great discount. There are 2 ways to receive your discounts, either show and save, or book online. We also recommend contacting any tour providers by phone or e-mail, to ensure bookings are available.

All businesses listed on this website are contractually obligated to honour the agreed advertised discount.

However if this does not happen - please e-mail us proof of payment and we will re-reimburse you for the discount you missed out on.

eGift cards act as a voucher. Using the Woolworth's eGift card as an example, if you pay $190 you will receive a voucher to the value of $200 which can be used at Woolworths, Safeway, Big W, Thomas Dux Grocers, participating Caltex Woolworths/Safeway co-branded outlets, Woolworths Liquor, Safeway Liquor, BWS and Dan Murphy’s.

Once you place an order for a Wish Egift card, you will be e-mailed your voucher immediately. Simply print off your voucher and present at the checkout for use.

You can also save your voucher number and pin code on your phone to avoid having to take the voucher with you.

As long as the card is valid, you can use it as many times as you like!

Discount and promotional offers are subject to availability and Program Participants’ restrictions. Program Participants may impose blackout periods from time to time. Blackout periods for Program Participants are listed on cil.aussietravelsaver.com.au.

A valid and unique email address is a requirement of activating your travel saver card. Anyone can get a free email address at www.gmail.com, www.yahoo.com or www.live.com. Email is the quickest way we can provide you with information including promotional offers, information about the card benefits and other CIL news.
